Hunter & Co Vintage

On Saturday I had the chance to go and visit the newly opened Hunter & Co ran by previous owner of Trish Hunter Finds, Trish and her partner.
It really is something rather wonderful and I had no idea how much stuff she would have...it is alot!

Here we are sitting in what I thought of as 'The Gentleman's Room' which naturally was my favourite room in the place. Cigar boxes!

She has a wonderful collection of enamelware which was so dreamy!

The star of the show, Betty, sitting in The Gentleman's Room. I couldn't get enough of Betty, I had lots of pats and she licked my leg so I think Im in with a chance.

So you should all visit this wonderful gigantic new vintage wonderland! The address is 553 Plenty Rd, Preston here in bipolar weather land, Victoria.

Im somewhat uninspired by this heat but here is what I wore anyway.
1930's hat - Vintage Hat, Northcote (sadly closed now)
Handmade dress - a gift from Claire (@tunabake on instagram)
1940's style shoes - Aris Allen reproduction swing shoes

I will hopefully be posting sometime mid week so until then!
xx

  1. Just the kind of shop I would love to browse in!! I couldn't find where you are based, are you in Australia or North America??

I'm in Wales, UK, so either way it's too far to visit :(

We must 'Captains of Industry' soon. You've given me a hankering for their mushrooms that I had so long ago.

  5. Love your shoes, Just checked out the Aris Allen site, what a gorgeous shoe wonderland....Can I ask you though, the sizing conversion chart seems a little off compared to others I've seen, did you look up your normal aussie size and follow the chart they have? Were the shoes the right size?
    All the best,
    Trina

    1. I went off my measurement of inner sole from other shoes to make sure it would fit. Hope that helps. x
