Tea and fruit

Yesterday I met up with Marianne again for coffee and tea (Im a tea addict) at Captains of Industry.
I love the place and have become a regular there once, twice or sometimes 3 times a week.
I just love menswear and the tailor, barber and shoemaker here are some of the best in Melbourne, not to mention the handsome men that make my tea and sometimes bring me delicious food.

I always sit at a table with a sewing machine, wishing that I had it in my house.

Marianne was rocking the turban look which Im a big fan of at the moment.

I had some success with my 1930s do even if my curls are a little frizzy.
And YES look at that piano behind me....amazing.

So then I wandered off on my way home and stopped in to see my gorgeous friend at work (who unfortunately refused to let me photograph her. :( She is fabulous just so you know).
She works at Scally & Trombone in Fitzroy which is lovely and has great floral swimcaps.

This amazing playsuit was calling out to me, if only I spent more time at the beach or pool...but it's a rather rare occasion for me.

They also stock my favourite jewellery brand, Erstwilder! I ummed and ahhhed over a few pieces and couldn't decide what I wanted. I am rather fond of the banana earrings though.

So that was my day off this week, scorching hot but still pleasant thanks to 2 lovely ladies.
Coming up soon I'll have a post on Clara Fox in Fitzroy North. Vintage heaven!!
